Q. Can you ship a Bummer Bear to the U.K., Canada or other International locations)?
A.Yes! We can ship a Bummer Bear abroad but the extra shipping cost can be quite expensive. The international shipping cost to the U.K. is $37 and to Canada is $33, for example. This is added to the price of the bear. (Our international shipping charge is what the US Post Office charges us, nothing more!) Because our website can only accept orders being shipped to the U.S., any international orders are taken by phone. If you are interested, please fill out the Contact Us page on the website and provide your phone number and the best time of day or evening to reach you. We'll call you back to take your order by phone. The bear will take 3-5 business days to reach the U.K. or Canada from the U.S. once it is shipped.
Q. What are the shipping options and costs?
A. We offer two methods of shipping, U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail and U.S. Postal Service Express Mail. The website can only accept orders being shipped to the continental U.S.. Any international orders are taken by phone. (If interested, please send us your contact information by email or through our Contact Us page.
FREE Standard Shipping:
Your Bummer Bear will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail on the day following receipt of your order. The Bummer Bear should arrive at its destination 2-3 days later. Priority Mail delivery time-frame is an estimate, not a guarantee.
Express Mail Shipping:
Your Bummer Bear will be shipped via USPS Express Mail on the day following receipt of your order. The Bummer Bear will arrive at its destination 1-2 days later. (Delivery is 1 day to most big cities and 2 days to smaller towns and cities. If you'd like to check whether your destination is a 1-day or 2-day delivery schedule, please contact us and we'll let you know.)
All orders received by 6pm EST will be shipped the following day by USPS Priority Mail (2-3 day delivery) or by USPS Express Mail (1-2 day delivery). All of our Bummer Bears include FREE Priority Mail shipping. If you would like to expedite your order please select the Express Mail shipping option during checkout. There is an additional $22.00 charge for this expedited shipping.
Q. Do you collect sales tax?
A. Yes, we collect sales tax for all Bummer Bears purchased by customers in New York State.
Q. What are the payment options for purchasing a Bummer Bear?
A. We accept Mastercard, Visa, and American Express. We can not accept jars of honey as payment at this time.
Q. Will I receive a confirmation of my order?
A. Yes. You will receive an email confirmation along with details of your order.
Q. Will I be able to confirm that my Bummer Bear was delivered to the recipient?
A. Yes. Once your bear is shipped you will receive an email with information and a link to check on the arrival status of your bear.
Q. Will the recipient see the price I paid for the Bummer Bear?
A. No. We figure that most every Bummer Bear is being sent as a gift so we keep the price of your selected bear between you and us.
Q. How will my Bummer Bear be packaged?
A. Each Bummer Bear is wrapped in a bright apricot-colored tissue paper and comfortably packaged in a USPS Priority Mail box or a white shipping box for USPS Express Mail shipments, each perfectly sized for our bears. The Cast Cub bears have extra packaging around their arm or leg casts to ensure that their cast is protected during their travel to their new home.
